Default Figuring out 1RM

I plan on starting ABBH in about a week, and wanted to figure out my 1 RM on several of the exercises prior to starting the program. Other than maxing out for 1 rep on each exercise, are there any other alternatives I may want to consider to figure out my 1 RM?
