Funny thing is that this imbalance is usually the opposite for vertical push-pull exercises. For example, this morning I did 3 sets of 10 pull-ups with +20lbs. external which came to about 8000lbs. of work...on the flipside, I did 3 x 10 on DB shoulder presses with 95lbs. which is only 2850lbs! Yikes! When looking at these movts. I don't think i would be able to pick up my arms if I tried to match my vertical pulling volumes/loads....besides, I don't plan on matching this strength anytime soon as even push presses might top out around 225 x 10.
thanks dos

now i am confused,
so it doesnt really matter if the volume is not the same?
