Oh, I'm going to keep posting and I haven't lost interest in improving my swimming. It's just right now my aerobic capacity for swimming is low and I (think) I can burn calories more effectively out of the pool. Yeah, I know that won't get any better without spending time in the pool but I just want to get the weight down a bit first.
Nutrition? WHAAAAAA????? Let's see, last night was a Mexican food dinner (fajitas) with two frozen margaritas... hmmmm.

Yeah, yeah, I know but I usually try to hit a happy median. Reduce calories some and pick up exercise level.
I wanted feedback from you folks so thanks for calling my hand on this. If you're not buying my rationalization, just say so. :p Now that I think about it, having a swim day between weight room days does help me recover better to have a better weight room day when I go back. Maybe I'll leave the rotation as it is.
