I rotate my pre-workout with the following.

Cardio days:
1/2 scoop whey protein
1/4 cup ground up un-cooked steel cut oats
1 tablespoon ground flaxseed.

Weight days:
1/3 cup cooked steel cup oats
1/2oz almonds

Post workout:
1 scoop whey
