Hip Arthritis
My father in law has "slight" detioration in his hip, Im guessing femur. Its painful for him to walk and I dont think his career of desk jobs has helped this. Im trying to convince him to start doing some training for it, but it is rather hard since he believes more in healers and other mumbo jumbo.
I refered him to EC's feel better for 10 bucks article, hoping he might take away something from it. Instead he listened to the chiropractors stretching advice. I havent given him any type of assessment, but I was wondering if bodyweight squats and unweighted romanian deadlifts would work for him? I believe that to help the pain, he needs to work within the problem areas ROM.
Does this sound right?
