As for as that national service and many like it, the way they operate is they find the clients for you in your area. This is great, because you don't have to market or hound people...the service finds people interetsed in fitness--usually located in condo's or apartment complexes, hotels--anywhere that has a fitness room. OR...simply people's homes.

Now the catch is...if your client pays $75/hour...you are only getting $25 and the service gets the rest. That ratio only grows in your favor IF you are able to maintain the person as your client after the "x" number of sessions is over. Only then you wil make ...maybe $30, then $35...BUT it will never be the whole cut.

Its great for experience...a friend of mine in central CT runs the same service. Its great, because you gain experiecne going into people's homes and training them with limited equipment--but from a income standpoint--you really get the short-end of the stick.
