I'm in San Marcos, south of Austin but, yeah, and the same for the City's lap pool. I don't mind swimming indoors, especially during winter! When I lived in Bryan/College Station (or the AggiePlex as we affectionately called it), I did used to swim in an outdoor heated pool. We had a Polar Bear Club but it was really only cold when you got out.

We're building a new pool on campus ('09) and I thought it was going to be outdoor but, in the end, they changed it back it indoor. I think they were afraid it would be an "attractive nuisance." I can see college students being too tempted to jump whatever kind of fence was put up for a little late night skinny dipping... not that any of our students would get drunk an attempt such a feat! Hell, they might have even found me in there with 'em!
