I know a guy who nearly got kicked out of school because he wouldn't stop playing the World of Warcraft. Now, I have played Warcraft et al....but I can't even begin to imagine being that consumed by a video game.... any thoughts? And how does this relate to personalities....does this sort of addictive behavior spill over into other areas of people's lives? For example, they may switch from one thing to another, like video games to sports to studying, etc etc... Or are we all this way...it is just cleverly concealed by the fact that once we recognize something might be deleterious we switch to something else that is either different in basic nature or the opposite of what we were doing?
