Default Week two day three

Early morning rushed Afterburn

Superset 1:
A1 Deadlift 65x10 (warm up), 85x20, 105x20
A2 DB military press 20(ea)x20, 25x20


Only time to do two sets today so I compromised by adding weight. I could have done more; next time will plan to do a 95 lb set twice and then shoot for 115. These sets of 20 grind me down. Went up on the military presses also, and 25s were TOUGH. I don't think I could have done another set with that weight. Next time I'll do two sets w the 20lb dbs and then finish with the 25s. Yes, I am a masochist, what makes you ask?

Superset 2:
B1 Bulgarian hell squats 20/leg x 2; first set with 5 lb dbs (ea hand), second set with the first ten reps weighted, last ten no friggin way!
B2 DB pullover 15(ea)x20x2

OUCH. Weight for evil Bulgarians.... 20 reps with any weight just sucks. No time for a third set; same with the pullovers which were impacted by my still sore serratus

Superset 3:
C1 single leg hip extension 20x2/leg
C2 prone jackknife (on stab ball) 10x2 20/sidex2

Still decided to cross the supposedly extended leg over the working leg lower quad due to ongoing TFL/glute issues. I just don't feel these bodyweight things consistently. Maybe I need to add bands so the right muscles engage?

D1 prone cobra 60 sec x 1


Planning on a run on the dreadmill pre-lunch. I'm sure my patients this afternoon will appreciate it... note to self: pack deodorant and perfume
