Jeez, I don't even think we had air conditioning till I was in high school! Playing outside was ALL we did. I am so disappointed in how fragile this generation thinks our kids are. I'm probably not much different, so I can't really judge. For those who read
Freakanomics I would qualify as an "obsessive parent" in many ways. We need to learn to back up a little, let them make their mistakes and get scrapes and bruises, toughen up a little!
