UFC and Xyience have too much invested in Franklin. He's a bankable guy and a fan favorite. If he were to go the way of Loiseau and lose to an up-and-comer, that would mean lots of lost revenue. On the other hand, if he wins the re-match then everyone would buy Franklin Silva 3 on PPV. Excepting Lindland, I don't know who currently in the UFC you would want to put against Silva.
Silva's darn good, but I'm not ready to nut-hug (to borrow a favorite Sherdog term) him yet. I think Franklin could defeat him on a good night and with the right game plan.
In any case, I don't know whether to weep for or laugh at whoever wins
TUF 4 in the MW division.

Lindland would be great for the UFC 185 class.....talk about a game fighter who must be VERY hard to train for. Man did he do a number on Jeremy Horn in the last IFL event.
