Boy was I hurting this morning. My hips and achilles were just fried. I had the little lady work me through some yoga poses, and felt a bit better. So what did I do? I had a Red Bull and jumped on the bike for an hour.

The ride was great, it was about 18 miles, a bit of rolling hills. I'm really working on riding a bit more in the drops to simulate the back position of riding with aero bars since I'll be getting some soon. I know it's not the same position, but it does close the hips a bit more and makes me use my hamstrings and lower back to generate some of the power. So it's going good, I just can't wait to get my aero bars. Oh, and just for good measure, I went for a 20 minute run after the ride. I was scheduled for 45 minutes, but really felt I was close to running on empty as it was. So I'll sacrifice 25 minutes of running today to give my body some rest.

The diet is up and down right now. I've had 5 3+ hour training days in the last 2 weeks, with one more this week. So right now, I'm so focused on just getting some calories in. I was down to 163 earlier this week, which is just too low for me. I had trying to justify eating bad foods sometimes, but realistically, I need calories bad. I'm eating 90% clean, but the 10% bad foods are really just for the calories. If I didn't feel like I had to, I wouldn't. The girlie is going to Denver this weekend, which means a big trip to Sunflower Market, and mass amounts of good, clean food. Yessssss
