There's a furniture store in my city that used to offer a free dining set to the first customer on boxing day. A couple of years ago I remember reading an article on the 27th, in which the lucky "winner" was laughing about how he had camped over night (our nights can get to -30 C here) to win. Sure, he missed out on Christmas Dinner the day before but, in his words, his kids had plenty of other relatives there to keep them entertained...
