Albeit, two of them were just articles that were re-published from rugged. I will have a new one there next month when they "redo" the site.
And Lisa is correct, I didn't wait to have better letters next to my name to start writing. The only letters that had next to mine at the time were SAM (Sexy Ass Mofo), and I am not sure whether or not they helped me...
Okay, in all seriousness. I didn't wait to get my CSCS or anything similiar before I started writing. It was basically the same way as you Steve. I had some ideas, thought people would like them and I was off (with the help of a few people obviously). So go for it. People recognize good, they could really care less where it comes from.
