Steve,
I have met tons of CSCS's and CPT since 1998. Some are good...some are okay...and some are bad. Initials after a name are simply a book cover....you have to really dive into a professional's life and uncover the experience, knowledge, and passion that have to judge them.
I stopped putting guys with a "CSCS" on a pedastel a long time ago. Trust me, it's a great certification to have--one with lots of respect--but if you have knowledge in a certain area--and you can find resources and research, anyone can write an article.
Honestly, I never speak or write about kettlebells or improving 40 speed. Why? Because it is not my niche and I am upfront with my members and anyone I run into. Stay honest with yourself and only talk about the things you know!
