This is a bit late, but drop all that you have for now. Go to t-nation and read an article called Smart from the Start - its a good article to learn about what you need to know. Stick to compound lifts (bench, rows, squats, deadlifts, dips, chins/pullups) as the basis of your routine. Start off light until you get the form down solid. If you wanna grow, as a beginner, squat, squat, and squat some more. The best advice I can give you is to read about what you want to do. But, don't put off working out because you're constantly looking for something better. Pick a routine designed by a professional for now. HGM, Book of Muscle, New Rules of Lifting. Come to think of it, buy New Rules of Lifting. Read it. Go over to the NROL subforum here and ask questions. Eat. Lift. Get big.
