If I had stuck to "anything above 8-reps is only cardio", I wouldn't have found out that the rep range for strength (and growth) for my legs is above 10-reps. And I've been training for over 20-years and have used just about every rep range known to man (and woman).

It's called knowing your body. But it also shows you that more volume for a woman doesn't neccessitate 15-20 reps with five pound weights.
