Nice work OG. You'll find you pick up swimming really quick. I think of lots of stuff to releive teh boredom, like fantasy football, or how good it's going to feel to get out on the race course.
Once you get more comfortable and get a more solid base, you can start doing drills and sets too, to break up your workout. I love doing reverse pyramids - swim 500m, rest 50 seconds, swim 400m, rest 40s, swim 300m, rest 30s and so on to 100m. Stuff like that will surely break up your workout.
Or you could just try to invent stuff. I've had some pretty good ideas while swimming [img]/images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img]
Good work, you're going to be a stud triathlete in no time!
