Greetings Mind/Body friends.

I'm looking forward to the chance to share our different points of light on the subject of mind/body awareness, as well as other related subjects.

I had an interesting experience I'd like to share. When I was going through my 200 hour yoga certification training, I drove on Interstate 540 from I-40 to Fayetteville on a weekly basis. The trips were all taken at the same time of day for many months. I became quite familiar with the mountains along that stretch. I saw them in their many moods from sunshine to rain, and the occasional storm. I thought I knew them pretty well.

One Saturday morning I was driving up for a weekend workshop at AYC (Arkansas Yoga Center in Fayetteville), and for the first time I saw the mountains with the morning sun. They looked like a totally different mountain range with the new light that was shining on them. I was slack-jawed and amazed at their beauty.

I submit that the body of knowledge(whether on yoga or other mind/body subjects)is too large for us to share a singular viewpoint, or for any of us to know it all. Light from different sources can facilitate a broader understanding.

I celebrate the light in us all.
