Question

I'm looking to get leads on any martial arts programs in schools (particularly programs that have been offered during the school day, perhaps as PE class sessions). I'm also looking for some research (or at least good anecdotal evidence) of the benefit of martial arts training to youth, and perhaps at-risk youth in particular.

I operate my own martial arts school (taekwondo, hapkido, kumdo), as well as teach after-school programs. However, I am looking at developing more unique ways of offering martial arts training to youth of all ages, including PE sessions. I've done them for free, but I'd like to partner with some schools and offer it as an extended session and/or PE alternative track. So, credibility, demonstrating benefits, and funding are all concerns. And, I'm open to other new ideas. (Trying to spread the experience/good word, and make a viable living!)

I would welcome any thoughts, examples, leads, links, comments, ideas,. etc. etc. etc.

Thanks all.
