I tried them in the lat pulldown setup, but failed! Things were busy, I looked like an idiot, cable too short, I moved on...
One of the 5 or 6 back extension thingies at my gym is very adjustable. I was able to make it level and adjust things to approximate a GHR setup. If only there was more padding! Ouch! Anyhow, they were really hard. I might try them on a ball next time. They ball looks like it would be easier on the quads.
